It's likely that there is no better weekend plan than climbing Mount Ulia and ending up at the Merendero. 

Start climbing at the end of Calle San Francisco, climb Ulia and follow the path marked by green and white stripes. Amazing views of the ocean, isolated forests, and ancient whaling watchtowers. Then a well-earned bottle of cider or an iced coffee with the vast garden of the Merendero at your back and the ocean spread out in front. Paradise.
