These little treats are piling up in the bakeries and panaderías of San Sebastian. After talking to my students about how Americans hide razors in apples and hand them out to trick-or-treaters, I asked them what I should do this weekend. The most recurring answer was "Eat some huesos de santo!" It's no door-to-door candyfest but, hey, it's a tradition. And we'll take what we can get. So now you won't be confused if you see a blonde baby dressed up as an Alabama cheerleader on the streets of Donosti, munching on marzipan bones.
