K5 Txakoli is the most expensive txakoli on the market, but with good reason. It's a far cry from the white table wine that most of us call txakoli. It's an experiment of famed chef Karlos Arguiñano and partners. This txakoli is made with grapes grown on the bodega site (rare in the D.O.); they remove ALL the stems; they don't use the inferior quality liquid from later pressings to make the wine. Detailed.
